Creamy Chicken Sandwiches
A popular potluck favorite in the Midwest, these creamy chicken and stuffing sandwiches are made in the slow cooker for a warm and comforting meal.

Ingredients

boneless, skinless chicken breast

cans cream of chicken soup

dried parsley

chicken broth

Stove Top stuffing
Instructions
Place chicken breast in your greased crock pot.
Add cream of chicken, dried parsley, and chicken broth over top.
Cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or until you are able to shred the chicken.
Shred the chicken completely.
Pour stove top stuffing in and mix well.
Cook for an additional 20 minutes or until stuffing pieces are moistened.
Serve over hamburger buns and enjoy!

Using a slow cooker helps the chicken breast become tender and easier to shred. It also allows all of the flavors to perfectly soak into the chicken!
If the consistency of your chicken mixture is too thick or dry, add more chicken broth or some milk until it becomes a more desired consistency.
Consider adding garlic powder, onion powder, or black pepper for extra flavor.
Use tender, fresh chicken breast for the best flavor and easier shredding once cooked.
Toast your hamburger buns or add a slice of cheese for an extra layer of flavor.
