Additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil for toppingoptional
Instructions
In a large saucepan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, brown hamburger until no pink remains. Be sure to chop beef into small pieces.
Add pasta sauce and garlic. Continue to saute for 3 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and set aside.
Prepare ricotta layer by combining ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl. Set aside.
To build your lasagna, break lasagna noodles up and place them in a greased 7-inch springform pan. Try to cover the bottom of the pan, but don’t layer noodles more than 2 thick.
Add ½ of the meat sauce over noodles.
Add ½ of the ricotta mixture over meat sauce.
Sprinkle ½ of mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese over top.
Repeat layers of noodles, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and cheeses.
Preheat air fryer at 360Fº for 5 minutes.
Place prepared lasagna in air fryer and cover it with aluminum foil. Air fry for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, uncover lasagna and air fry at 280Fº for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned.
Allow lasagna to sit for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Make sure your lasagna fits in the air fryer by using a smaller, oven-safe dish like a 6-inch round pan or mini loaf pan.
Cover the lasagna with aluminum foil during most of the cooking process to prevent the cheese from burning and ensure even cooking. Remember to wrap the aluminum foil tightly on your pan to prevent it from coming off in the air fryer.
Since the air fryer cooks faster, use thinner layers of pasta, sauce, and fillings to ensure the lasagna cooks through without drying out.
Air fryer models vary, so you may need to adjust cooking times slightly depending on your machine.
